Mom's Cough Syrup

  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. honey

Place sliced onions in a pan, and drizzle honey and lemon juice over them. Turn to lowest heat and pour off juice as it comes out.

Makes about 1 cup of cough syrup. This usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get all the juice out.
