Baking Soda Toothpaste

by Kelly

February 2007

  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 drops food grade peppermint oil
  • enough water to paste

Because I do not like to make this up every time that I brush my teeth, I have purchased a 1/2 cup Rubbermaid container to make it in "bulk". The container has not deteriorated and the lid seems to keep it all in. The container will hold about 20 tsp. Thus, I add 40 drops of oil, and then enough water to paste. Stir well, cap and set by the bathroom sink.

I have used this for about 6 years now, and if I have to use store bought stuff in an emergency, I find them to be terribly sweet.

Do you know what just 7 pounds of herbs look like (and I'm sure you do)? I was amazed at the quantity and quality you have delivered in such a timely manner to me. My cupboards are full and the plans for tinctures and teas abound. I have several large herb/natural food stores in my area, but they can't touch your prices or your quality. Thank you so much.
