Hi Joy,
Thank you for the note. When I used the henna, I put about 3-4 teaspoons in a little water and simmered it just a little. After this I let it cool down and smeared it all over my wet hair, left it on for an hour or two (went outside), and then rinsed it out, but washed my hair with shampoo the next day. The henna covered my gray strands (I do not use hair coloring because gray hair is a crown of glory as our sons quote from the Bible), so this was surprising along with my hair looking healthier. I am not sure how often you need to do this so let me know if you hear from others' suggestions.
