Food Recipes: Apple Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup raw butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups raw milk or buttermilk
  • 2 cups shredded apple
  • 2 1/2 cups flour of your choice- wheat, spelt, rye, etc.
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey

Directions

Whisk together first four ingredients in a bowl. Stir in last 4 ingredients just until mixed. Heat a large griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Use 1/4 - 1/3 cup batter per pancake. Cook until brown on both sides, and serve hot.
