Food Recipes: Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream

This is home-made ice cream like you have never had it before.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup honey (raw is best)
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon powder
  • Pinch of cayenne
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 4 cups cream (raw is best)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup raw, natural peanut butter

Directions

In the blender, mix eggs, honey, cinnamon, cayenne and cocoa. When that is mixed well, add cream and blend just until mixed. (If you blend it too long, your ice cream will have chunks of fat in it).

Chill mixture in fridge or freezer for an hour (I prefer the freezer). Process in ice cream maker (I have a Cuisinart that makes 2 quarts at a time). While the mixtures is in process in the ice cream maker, add the peanut butter in little pieces, about the size of a dime. Finish making ice cream according to your ice cream maker's directions. Makes 2 quarts.
