Food Recipes: Chili à la Joy

Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 onions
- 2 stalks of celery
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1/2 red pepper
- cooked kidney beans (approx. 2-3 cups)
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 3 cups of pureed fresh tomatoes (blender)
- salt to taste
- 3-6 tbsp. chili powder to taste
- garlic to taste (I usually put in 3 heads of peeled garlic in with the tomatoes when I puree them)
Directions
Simmer 2-3 hours or all day on low. It tastes even better the day after it’s been cooked.
