May I ask why we are so strictly charged not to listen to this CD, because we will "take advantage" of our men? Day in, day out, I am lectured to by my husband. I am exhorted to imitate his mother, his sister, you name it. He reads information regarding wives and uses it to weary me with information in all the ways I fall short. I have five young children and homeschool them. I am reminded daily of my shortcomings and am tired of it. Never did I stand before the altar and vow to be perfect in every way until death do us part. I can't be perfect. And is he perfect? Don't even make me answer that one!

    Liz - I feel your pain!! So many men do not grasp that they were created bigger and stronger not to BULLY and always get their way and have their say and have all the control...but so they can be the PROTECTOR and provider (the very word 'husband' by definition means just that!). I buy books, CDs, take him to seminars and sermons, and nothing 'sticks'. Like it doesn't apply to him. If he ever hears a scripture he uses it out of context against me (the wife's body is no longer her own but her husband's...etc). How do we get men to LISTEN and work on their own shortcomings? How are we to 'honor' and 'respect' them when they are continually dishonorable and disrespectful? I intend on purchasing this CD, but I can't promise I won't listen to it also! I think that whole statement was ridiculous, banning wives from hearing a message that affects their marriage - and suggesting that wives are just conniving and manipulative and will naturally 'take advantage' of their husband! Good grief!!

By tell women NOT to listen, he just sold twice or three times more CD's.
