Historical uses:

Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) is mentioned in Exodus Chapter 12 as the oil in lamb’s blood. It was used to prevent the Plague, which may be similar to AIDS today.

    Oral Use as Dietary Supplement:

    Generally regarded as safe (GRAS) for internal consumption by the FDA. Dilute one drop in 1 tsp. honey or 4 oz. of beverage. However, due to high ketone content, extreme caution should be taken. Best avoided by children of any age.

    Safety Data:

    According to some sources, the pinocamphone can cause toxic effects. Avoid during pregnancy. Avoid if dealing with high blood pressure. Not sure use by people with epilepsy. Use extreme caution and dilute well when unsure!
