It is excellent for the skin. Used traditionally to support the circulatory and nervous systems, and a great deal of its strength lies in its ability to revitalize body tissues.

Historical uses:

Geranium oil has been used for dysentery, hemorrhoids, inflammations, heavy menstrual flow, and possibly even cancer. It has also been said to be a remedy for bone fractures, tumors, and wounds.

    Generally regarded as safe (GRAS) for internal consumption by the FDA. Dilute one drop in 1 tsp. honey or 4 oz. of beverage. Not for children under 6 years old; use with caution and in greater dilution for children 6 years old and over.

    Repeated use can possibly result in some contact sensitization.
