French Green Clay has enormous absorbent powers due to the constitution of its micro molecules. It literally "drinks" oils, toxic substances, and impurities from your skin. Its toning action stimulates the skin by bringing fresh blood to damaged skin cells, revitalizing the complexion, and tightening pores. The highly micronized, and often fragile molecular state of French Green Clay allows for far greater absorption of impurities, dust, oil, contaminants, and make up than other clays, and when seeking treatment for the skin, choose French Green over the other varieties.
French Green Clay is marvelous for helping to clear problem skin. Use it daily on trouble spots, or weekly as part of a complete facial treatment. Mined from bedrock quarries in France, it is completely natural, unscented and fragrance free. The clay's green color comes from a combination of iron oxides and decomposed plant matter, mostly kelp seaweed and other algae.
French green clay is a substance that is used for external cosmetic treatments as well as some internal applications.
Green clays contain magnesium, calcium, potassium, manganese, phosphorous, zinc aluminum, silicon, copper, selenium, cobalt, micro-algaes, algae, and phyto-nutrients. French green clay has the ability to remove toxic metals and chemical residues, bacteria, and blood toxins with virtually no side effects of constipation, diarrhea, or stomach cramping. It is known to remove radiation, arsenic, lead, mercury, and aluminum amid other toxic metals in less than six weeks. The more you use, the quicker you detox.
French green clay is most commonly used in the United States and Canada for cosmetic purposes. The clay works by adsorbing impurities from the skin cells, by causing dead cells to slough off, and by stimulating the flow of blood to the epidermis. As the clay dries on the skin, it causes the pores to tighten and the skin to feel firm.
Other external uses for French green clay include poultices to treat arthritis, sore muscles, and sprains; ready-to-use pastes for application to cuts, bruises, insect bites, stings, and minor burns; and mineral baths for stress relief. Some maintain that the plant matter in French green clay has anti-inflammatory as well as antiseptic or bactericidal properties.
To cleanse the digestive tract, treat nausea or other gastric disorders, ease menstrual cramps, or relieve a sore throat, try drinking or gargling with solutions of Green clay. It is claimed that French green clay absorbs toxins from the stomach and intestines as well as neutralizing radioactivity in the body.
Note: Clay preparations should be made in glass or ceramic containers. When stirring, use wooden or glass.

Several years ago I experienced hemorrhaging due to uterine fibroids. I took 1tsp of clay a day for 3 months and I completely healed. I went to doctor to confirm this. 10 years later I still am well. I use clay for bee stings, intestinal issues, etc.

I use the french green clay powder once a week for my face. just a bit of water and clay and rub it all over face and neck. I have immediate results. face looks brighter, clearer, and feels great as well! also use it in my little ones bath occasionally for her skin. she has terrible sores, dry skin, sometimes weepy. the clay has been very soothing and mixing it with Dead sea salt is the best way to go. when her skin is having a "bad day" putting her in a bath of DSS and green and/or bentonite clay for about 20 minutes clears her right up. she literally looks and feels like a new girl! bye-bye steroid creams!!

I like the French green clay powder but I would like it more if it was a raw French green clay. I like a strong Earth flavor . do you know of a product that has a strong Earth taste ?
