Fennel has a sweet, earthy, anise-like aroma that is energizing, vitalizing, and balancing. It is stimulating to the circulatory, glandular, respiratory, and digestive systems.

Historical uses:

It has been used for thousands of years for snakebite, to stave off hunger pains, to tone the female reproductive system, for earaches, eye problems, insect bites, kidney complaints, lung infections, and to expel worms.

  • Flatulence
  • Gout
  • Intestinal parasites
  • Intestinal spasms
  • Increases lactation

    Generally regarded as safe (GRAS) for internal consumption by the FDA. Dilute one drop in 1 tsp. honey or 4 oz. of beverage. Not for children under 6 years old; use with caution and in greater dilution for children 6 years old and over.

    Safety Data:

    Repeated use can possibly result in contact sensitization. Use with caution if susceptible to epilepsy. Use with caution during pregnancy.
