Prepared from naturally occurring alum mineral salts, this stone inhibits bacteria from growing on the skin. Your body will still sweat, which is a normal and healthy process, but the odor associated with bacterial growth is inhibited. The deodorant stone does not stop perspiration & therefore does not clog pores, it also does not cover up odors with a perfume. Rather, it attacks the cause of the problem, which is the bacteria that cause the odors. When applied it leaves a tiny layer of mineral salts on the skin that cannot be felt or seen.
