Spring is the most amazing time of the year. The earth seems to awaken from a deep sleep and slowly come alive. Spring rain washes away the drabness of winter, and provides moisture to brighten the earth with lush color. It’s invigorating to wake up and notice the world becoming a little greener every day. Everywhere you look; wild flowers are popping up from nowhere, splashing the world with their beauty. The happy sound of birds chirping seems louder and sweeter. Creeks and rivers flow swifter and stronger after each rain.

I find spring’s energy contagious and inspiring. It always gets me thinking of adding new goals to my life and actually accomplishing them. Becoming healthier is one of my goals and something as simple as drinking an herbal tea is one step toward accomplishing that.

Even though spring is invigorating, if you’re like me, you still run into an occasional midday slump. Sometimes, between lunch and dinner, time seems to drag, and all I’d like to do is sleep. Citrus Mint Tea gives me the energy boost I need to keep going. It contains a lot of Spearmint combined with a little Ginger and Orange peel. The Spearmint and Ginger provide the boost, while the Orange peel adds a winning flavor. These ingredients not only provide much needed pep, but also soothe a stressed stomach.

I love the taste of mint, especially Spearmint, since its flavor is milder than Peppermint. There are so many things you can add it to and have something delicious – especially tea. Not only is the flavor delicious in this blend, but it also helps to revive your lack of energy while soothing frazzled nerves and calming cranky feelings.

Ginger is often thought of as an oriental spice. An ancient Indian proverb says, “Every good quality is contained in Ginger.” Many use it in cooking to help with indigestion. Because it stimulates digestive activity while settling the stomach, it’s the most natural way to heal stomach complaints.

Oranges are one of my favorite fruits and I can always count on more energy after eating one. This herb is used as a digestive aid for nausea and poor appetite, as well as boosting a lagging metabolism.

So, if you’re having problems with tiredness or lack of energy during some of the most crucial parts of the day, or any kind of stomach ailment, give Citrus Mint Tea a try. You’ll love the taste as well as its lasting effects!
