  • This oil fights viral and infectious diseases, and testing has yet to find a virus, bacteria, or fungus that can survive in its presence.

    Application:

    • Apply to Vita Flex points and directly on area of concern.
    • Best diluted with V-6 Mixing Oil as the high amount of phenols can irritate the skin.

    Oral Use as Dietary Supplement:

Generally regarded as safe (GRAS) for internal consumption by the FDA. Dilute one drop oil in 2 tsp. honey or 8 oz. beverage. May need to increase dilution even more due to this oil’s potential for irritating mucus membranes. Not for children under 6 years old; use with caution and in greater dilution for children 6 years old and over.

    Safety Data:

Repeated use can result in extreme contact sensitization. Avoid during pregnancy. Can cause extreme skin irritation. Diffuse with caution; it will irritate the nasal membranes if it is inhaled directly from the diffuser. Use extreme caution with diffusing cinnamon bark because it may burn the nostrils if you put your nose directly next to the nebulizer of the diffuser.

    From Our Reading and/or Experience...

    • Cinnamon Bark is among the most antiseptic essential oils. It has been produced in Sri Lanka for over 2,000 years.
    • May be applied neat (undiluted) on hands and bottoms of feet. We use it this way as soon as any of us feels we are coming down with something.
    • May be added to food as a dietary supplement or as a wonderful cinnamon flavoring agent.
    • It can be diffused to add the cinnamon scent throughout an area, and to reap some of it's many benefits.
    • Because of its high phenol content, it is best diluted (1 drop to 40 or 50 drops of V-6 Mixing Oil or any other quality oil, such as extra-virgin olive oil) before apply on the skin. If the mixture is too hot, apply additional diluting oil.
    • Frequently Asked Questions about essential oils.
    • Not all essential oils are the same. This is not like other brands of cinnamon essential oil that you may find at health food stores. This is therapeutic-grade which is more effective and suitable for internal use.
