A bottle of Bee Immune has 100 bee propolis capsules of 500mg each.

Propolis is made by bees from the highly antiseptic resins found in most tree buds and in the saps they secrete to cover wounds. The bees then add pollens, enzymes, and waxes to perfect the blend. With its high bioflavonoid content and immune supporting compounds, propolis is thought to build immunity, to work against non-native yeast in the GI, and to inhibit the growth of many infectious diseases. There is a series of studies exploring the anti-tumor properties of propolis.

Serving Size: 2 capsules, 50 servings per container.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules, 1-2 times a day, preferably with meals.
Contains No: yeast, wheat, milk, soy, preservatives.
Other Ingredients: magnesium stearate, silica.

I bought these originally to get rid of a cold. The cold was gone long before the bottle was empty, so it sat on the shelf until one Saturday afternoon when I had a nasty case of mastitis. Utter misery, pain, fever, hard lump, red streak, the whole nine yards. Somehow the pharmacy lost my doctor's called-in prescription for antibiotics. In desperation I took Bee Immune 4 or 5 times a day (two capsules at a time), and by Monday I was much better. By Wednesday, I was completely myself again, and the whole ordeal was just a bad memory. Quite amazing.

I take 2-3 capsules propolis with 1-2 grams Vit C. every 2 hours and it is getting rid of my cold. It works, but you have to take large amounts and take it for 4 days or so. The first time I used it, I stopped too soon and some of the symptoms returned. You have to take it long enough is the secret along with large dosage with C.
