    From Our Reading and/or Experience...

    • Clove, like Cinnamon, is one of the most antiseptic essential oils.
    • Eugenol, its principal constituent, is used synthetically in the dental industry for the numbing of gums. Clove is a very effective numbing agent.
    • May be applied neat (undiluted) on gums and teeth.
    • Apply topically diluted with V-6 Mixing Oil or any other quality oil, such as extra-virgin olive oil.
    • Add one to two drops in 4 oz. of water and use as a gargle.
    • Like cinnamon, it may be applied neat (undiluted) on hands and bottoms of feet. We use it this way as soon as any of us feels we are coming down with something.
    • May be added to food as a dietary supplement or as a wonderful clove flavoring agent.
    • It can be diffused.
    • Not all essential oils are the same. This is not like other brands of clove essential oil that you may find at health food stores. This is therapeutic-grade which is more effective and suitable for internal use.
