Known for their hot, spicy, pungent flavor, cloves are a favorite seasoning spice for meats, baked goods, and beverages. Clove essential oil is a valued aromatic, and is used traditionally as a remedy for skin conditions, to calm digestive upset, and to relieve nausea.

Extraction method: Steam Distillation. Derived from eugenia caryophyllata

Suggested Use For aromatherapy use. For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive, or almond oil prior to use. Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios. Mixes well with: cinnamon, cassia, clary sage, ginger, jasmine, lavender, lemon, nutmeg, orange, and many other oils.
